The first screening by ‘The Splendid Cinema’. Worcester Arts Workshop is pleased to announce the arrival of ‘The Splendid Cinema’ and the much anticipated screening of arthouse films in its city centre location.
‘The Splendid Cinema’ will screen arthouse, film noir, underground and cult movies, independent and World Cinema on Friday evenings on a fortnightly basis.
In addition to screening films overlooked by more commercial local venues, ‘The Splendid Cinema’ is seeking to encourage audience involvement in the selection of films, thereby making the process of visiting your local arthouse cinema a more socially engaging experience - so make yourselves known - what films would you like to see?
