Joseph and The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat

Joseph and The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat

The ever-popular Joseph returns to Malvern Theatres this January, throwing off those post-Christmas blues with its vibrant smash hit songs. Starring Craig Chalmers (one of the most popular finalists in the hit BBC series Any Dream Will Do) Joseph is always an audience favourite.

Any Dream Will Do was produced to find a leading man for Andrew Lloyd Webber’s new West End production of Joseph and was watched by millions of people every Saturday night. Craig was chosen from tens of thousands of wannabes to compete on the television programme and eventually finished in the top five.

Before Joseph, Edinburgh born Craig was a professional vocalist and entertainer. He was part of successful boyband No Reason who enjoyed a top ten hit as well as performing at the Kings Theatre in Edinburgh and Hampden Stadium alongside Blue, McFly, Sugarbabes and Girls Aloud.

This colourful retelling of the biblical story of Joseph, his eleven brothers and the coat of many colours, has a music score that is packed with sing-along favourites including Close Every Door and Any Dream Will Do by the award-winning duo Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Bill Kenwright- one of the most successful and prolific producers in British theatre directs this production today. Bill was on the expert panel of Any Dream judges alongside Andrew Lloyd Webber, Denise Van Outen and John Barrowman.
